''Magnificent Baling Technology''

This video shows a unique combination of maize harvesting and processing machines in round bales.

This combination has been working at Saxeni Agric from Pretoria, South Africa since 2020. There is no better and more efficient combination of machines for harvesting corn and other crops.

By combining an AGRONIC MultiBaler 1220 (supplied by Knoll B.V. from Holland - www.knollbv.nl) with a self-propelled Claas Jaguar 830 with 6-row maize header, the most efficient combination of machines is created.

The AGRONIC MultiBaler 1220 makes 100 cm bales. wide x 105-120 cm. diameter. Depending on the dry matter content of the product, the weight is about 700-900 kg. per bale.

This machine is also equipped with foil binding which ensures a perfect sealing of the bale in combination with wrapping foil, the so-called film & film technology. This system also helps to reduce silage losses through an enhanced oxygen barrier that discourages mold growth.

The Claas Jaguar 830 is equipped with a hydraulic PTO at the rear to drive the AGRONIC MultiBaler 1220. This requires a relatively low power of +/- 30-35 kW. Combining both machines results in a very efficient working process with the following advantages:

- One-man operation
- Almost no loss through direct processing of corn into bale
- Clean processing of product -- highest efficiency
- Better compaction per m3 compared to silo
- Better conversion due to high compaction and direct bale sealing (min. 6 layers of wrapping film)
- Easy to store anywhere
- Easy to move bales where you want

The fully automatic operation of the AGRONIC MultiBaler makes it possible in this way to easily combine and operate both machines.

In addition to corn, this method also includes various types of other products, such as: chopped grass, alfalfa, straw and many more crops.
